Mrs Pausey was the kennel owner who gave Margaret Chandler dog-worming tablets. One of the most popular theories about the cause of death for Dr Bogle and Mrs Chandler was that an unnamed prankster (ie Mr Chandler) had added the tablets to the coffee that Bogle and Chandler drank before they left the Nashes' party. Mrs Pausey gave evidence to the inquest with regards to this theory.

In 2006, Mrs Pausey appeared in the documentary Who Killed Dr Bogle & Mrs Chandler, describing how the police had questioned about the dangers of the tablets, as they had investigated the theory.
